Water level sensors

Observator Instruments offers various sensors for measuring water level. These sensors measure on the basis of a float, a pressure sensor or a radar.

  • The WL_M, a microwave water level height sensor from MPS, is designed to provide precise and reliable water level measurements using advanced microwave sensing technology.
  • Observator OMC-350: Float operated sensor for highly accurate level measurements, independent of salinity and barometric air pressure, so very suitable for measurement in coastal water and inland water where possible saltwater can penetrate.
  • Seametrics pressure operated level sensors:
    • LevelSCOUT: Stand-alone level meter with internal battery power supply and data logger including Modbus output.
    • BaroSCOUT: Meter for barometric pressure for barometric compensation of absolute level meters such as the LevelSCOUT.
    • PT2X: Level and temperature meter with internal battery power supply and data logger including Modbus RTU(RS485)/SDI-12 output.
    • PT2X-BV: Measurement unit for barometric compensation of PT2X measurements.
    • PT12: Pressure sensor with Modbus RTU (RS485)/SDI-12 output and temperature measurement.
    • PT12-BV: Measurement unit for barometric compensation of PT12 measurements.
    • PS98i: Pressure sensor with 4-20 mA output, for absolute and relative pressure.
    • PS9800: Pressure sensor with 4-20 mA output, for absolute and relative pressure.
    • Aqua4Plus: Software for processing Seametrics measurements, with export functions.
  • YSI Nile radar sensor: Radar operated level sensor for installation above water.
