New turning center for Observator Precisietechniek

Wednesday 9 September 2020

As announced in January, Observator Precisietechniek – located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands – expanded its machine park with an NLX 2500 | 1250 turning center. DMG MORI delivered the turning center in August. Now that the installation has been completed and the employees have been trained, the turning center is ready for use.

The NLX 2500 | 1250 is a high-rigidity, high-precision turning center with a distance between centers of 1,250 mm. This turning center flexibly handles various workpieces with a highly rigid bed, powerful turning capability and outstanding milling performance with the matured BMT (Built-in Motor Turret).

This state-of-the-art turning center carries out extreme precision manufacturing for large components and equipment. Whether it concerns a single copy or large series.
