The OMC-048 Scriptable Data Logger is celebrating its 5th anniversary! What started as a small logger with only basic functionality and a few essential drivers has rapidly grown into a powerful, feature-rich solution with an impressive number of drivers and capabilities.

Over the past years, our customers have used the OMC-048 with a wide variety of sensors, including many that were completely new to us. Some users even went a step further by writing their own Python code to create custom sensor drivers. Chapeau to their creativity!

To mark this anniversary, we are releasing a new firmware version, as well as a fully updated Configuration Manual. This manual was in urgent need of a refresh to include the many new features and drivers added over the years. In addition, a new datasheet is now available.

We are also introducing a brand-new document: the “Config template OMC-048”. This template makes it easy to create a new configuration file from scratch by simply copying the relevant text blocks. Perfect for starting a new project, and far more convenient than reusing an old config file!
