The RIMCO 8500 series of tipping bucket rain gauges are designed and constructed for long-term operation with minimal maintenance under almost all climatic conditions. All materials used are corrosion resistant. This proven instrument is accurate to within 5% for rainfall rates from 25mm/hr to 350mm/hr and better than 7% up to 440mm/hr for the 0.1mm model and accurate to within 4% for rainfall rates from 25mm.
This rain gauge can be used for several applications, such like general meteorology, water resources studies. hydrology, flood warning systems, automatic logging systems, remote and long term logging deployments.
