Observator 100 years

Wind systems

Wind is a crucial parameter in safe navigation. An investment in a high quality sensor (material and accuracy) and in choosing the right location is therefore strongly recommended. Cost of ownership and high quality data are some of the key-features using the Observator wind sensor line.

This line consists of both ultrasonic, as well as cup and vane type anemometers, and are produced in st.st. or high grade aluminum. These are commonly supplied with an easy to install mounting arm and local junction box.

Standard, the Observator wind sensor output is an NMEA signal. The wind sensor can directly be connected to a ship’s system, but also to one or more displays. The OMC-140 Multifunctional TFT Display can be used for this purpose.
