Observator 100 years

Meteorological systems (marine)

A ship borne weather system commonly exists of the 4 basic parameters; wind, temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. Special attention should be paid to selecting the right location for each of these parameters. Additional sensors may be added to these parameters, for example for measuring sea water temperature, solar radiation, cloudbase, visibility and even water quality.

Each vessel type requires its own configuration. Whether it concerns a one-man-bridge, a navy, or a VOS vessel; Observator Instruments is willing to share their knowledge on how a system should be configured. Our latest OIC-concept, as well as our new Multifunctional TFT touch screen display, are ideal to be used within these system, while data logging and data transfer are easily added to these systems.
